Welcome to Reception! The Reception classroom is a place full of wonder, imagination and discovery. Every day is different, whether we’re exploring the outdoors, sharing stories, investigating new ideas through play or celebrating those magical ‘I can do it!’ moments.
Meet the Teachers
I am Mrs Burns and I am one of Willow’s class teachers. I love being part of the children’s very first steps in their school journey and watching their confidence, curiosity and independence grow every day. Whilst I am at school, I like to encourage children to discover, create, inspire and explore the world around them. Outside of school, I enjoy exploring new places with my family. I also love playing netball with friends as it’s a great way to stay active, work as part of a team and have fun.
I am Mrs Patterson and I am also a teacher in Willow Class. I am passionate about creating a nurturing environment where every child feels happy, safe and valued. I love helping children discover their own strengths, interests and love of learning. Outside of school, I am proud to be a member of my church choir, where I enjoy singing as part of a community and taking part in services and special events. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family and going on adventures together.
